Program Overview

Nursing Assistant Training Program

The nursing assistant course is composed of 60 hours of theory and 108 hours of Clinical training. With the Covid -19 Waiver, we are able to complete Theory with distance learning. Instructors will meet with students via Zoom for theory. Clinicals/Skills will be held in the classroom and at the facility. This option has been very beneficial to students. We are partnered with Sacramento Post Acute as well as several other local facilities.

Program Requirements:

  • At least 16 years old
  • High School diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Able to pass school's entrance exam
  • Valid Government Photo ID (Driver's License, State ID, Passport, Alien Card)
  • Social Security Card
  • Criminal screening/ LiveScan Fingerprint
  • Physical Examination
  • Recent negative TB Test (within 3 months of date of clinicals start date
  • COVID 19 Vaccination Record
  • Immunization/Vaccination records (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, etc.)
